Renz A/S is expanding the popular MEFA Letter series with three new models to meet the growing demand for parcel mailboxes. The new models combine the stylish design of Mencke & Vagnby with enhanced functionality, allowing consumers to receive parcels safely and conveniently at home.
Following a successful collaboration between Renz A/S and Danish designers Mencke & Vagnby, the new models are now part of the MEFA Letter family—one of Renz’s best-selling mailbox series since the first model was launched in 2012. The new parcel mailboxes are designed to complement modern home aesthetics while addressing the increasing need for secure and practical parcel delivery, driven by the rise in online shopping.

Elegant design with practical solutions

The three new models in the MEFA Letter series feature a minimalist and timeless design that harmonizes with both classic and modern homes. In addition to maintaining their sleek appearance, the new models offer increased capacity to accommodate parcels of various sizes—an essential feature for many households today.“We see a clear trend in the market where consumers demand mailboxes that can handle more than just letters. With the new members of the MEFA Letter family, we offer both an elegant design and a practical solution that fits the modern lifestyle,” says Anna-Karin Krogsgaard, Marketing Manager – MEFA / KAM BtC & BtB.

A design journey with innovative solutions

For Renz A/S and designers Mencke & Vagnby, preserving the MEFA Letter’s iconic design while integrating new parcel-friendly features was a top priority.
“The transition of MEFA Letter from a traditional mailbox to a parcel box has been a design journey that required the development of several new features. The minimalist Letter design—with hidden dividing lines, concealed locks, and a refined aesthetic—demands innovation inside the box itself. For example, to create additional volume for parcels, we have developed new anti-theft mechanisms that provide both security and extra space in the parcel mailboxes. Additionally, we have introduced details such as a mechanism ensuring that the Letter lid on the larger models only closes when the front lid is securely shut. All these elements contribute to a seamless user experience and a clean, envelope-inspired look—the fundamental concept of the Letter series,” says designer Marcus Mencke Vagnby.

Coming soon to stores

The new models are now on their way to the market and will soon be available at selected retailers. With this expansion, Renz A/S continues to offer solutions that merge aesthetics, quality, and functionality—tailored to the evolving needs of consumers in the digital age.
